Objective & Personal

I am a diligent, enthusiastic, and friendly individual with a great sense of humor and have a huge admiration for the yachting industry looking for my next deckhand position. My experience includes a recent Altantic crossing, two Med seasons, along with experience in Shipyards and deck work in the Caribbean. I also hold a plethora of qualifications including my Yachtmaster Offshore, all of this is backed up with a substantial amount of maritime experience in shorebased positions.

Seasonal / Temporary Work – July 2023 to Present

JM/Y DEJA TOO - 53M Amels, Private/Charter 
18th January – 17 February 2025 
Joined Deja Too as a temporary deck / 3rd engineer (20% / 80%) to help the crew with a delivery from Antigua to Istanbul. My engine room duties included: helping service the generators, cleaning sea strainers, engine room watches and general tidying of the engine room. On deck, my duties included bridge watches, wash downs and helping with mooring operations.


M/Y Reef Chief – 50m Trinity, Private 
22nd June – 20th September 2024
Joined in Venice for a 3 month owner’s trip, cruising around all of Italy and Croatia and finishing in Vilanova, Spain. My jobs onboard included: washdowns, mooring, anchoring, launch and recovering tenders and bridge watches throughout day and night. I also helped with the interior doing heads & beds and occasional service.


M/Y Comfortably Numb – 60-Metre CRN, Private/Charter
2nd March – 23rd March 2024
Temporary deckhand for owner’s trip. Joined the yacht in St Kitts & Nevis and cruised around the Caribbean. During the owner’s trip, I was on nights where my jobs included: washdowns, covering and uncovering, passerelle watches and general upkeep of the yacht’s exterior.
 

M/Y Ghost III – 50m Acico, Charter
1st December – 16th February 2024
Joined in Vilanova for a shipyard period where my jobs included: painting bilges, anchor chain and the fish tank, washdowns, polishing stainless and superstructure, help organize LSA & FFE, preparing for varnishing an also doing weekly and monthly checks.
 

M/Y Monaco – 38m Feadship, Private
25th July – 1st December 2023
Joined in Barcelona for a belated Med season, my jobs onboard included: Launching and recovering tenders, tender driving, washdowns, teak part 1 & 2, polishing stainless and the superstructure and bridge watches as we cruised the French Riviera.
